Proposal Photographer in Dubrovnik
How proposal photography in Dubrovnik works with me
You’ve been carrying this ring around for days, maybe weeks. You know exactly what you want to say but you have no idea how to make sure someone captures the real reaction without ruining the surprise. That’s exactly why people reach out to me.
I’ve photographed over 30 surprise proposals across Dubrovnik – on the City Walls at sunset, at Mount Srd overlooking the coastline, in quiet corners of the Old Town that tourists walk right past. I know which spots work for which time of day, where to hide, and how to make sure your partner never sees me coming.
From the first message, I help you plan everything – the location, the timing, the cover story, and if you want flowers or decoration, I’ll coordinate that with a local styling company. On the day, you focus on the moment. I take care of the rest.

Frequently asked questions on proposal photography
How much does proposal photography in Dubrovnik cost?
Proposal photography starts from €280. The final price depends on the location, the length of the session, and any extras like decoration or floral setup. Send me your idea, and I’ll put together a personalised quote within 24 hours.
How far in advance should I book?
A few weeks is usually enough, but the sooner you reach out the more flexibility we have with locations and timing. If you’re planning during peak season (May to September), try to get in touch at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead.
What if my partner suspects something?
This is my job to prevent. I’ll help you build a cover story that fits naturally into your trip. I position myself well in advance and look like any other tourist or photographer in the area. In 30+ proposals, no one has ever spotted me before the moment.
What if the weather is bad on the day?
I always have a backup plan ready. If rain is expected, I’ll suggest covered locations that still look beautiful. If conditions change last minute, we stay in contact and adjust together. I’ve never had a proposal ruined by weather.
Can you help me choose a proposal spot in Dubrovnik?
Yes, and most clients ask me to. I’ll recommend locations based on what matters most to you. Want a dramatic sunset view? Mount Srd. Something private and quiet? A hidden terrace in the Old Town. A beach setting? Banje or the rocks along the coastline. I know what works and when.
Can you arrange decoration or flowers for the proposal?
I work with a local events styling company that can set up anything from a simple floral arrangement to a full candle-lit terrace. You tell me your vision; I can coordinate everything. You just show up.
What happens after the proposal?
Once the surprise is over and you’ve had a moment together, we continue with a relaxed couple session. This usually lasts 20 to 30 minutes and it’s when we get the beautiful celebration photos with the ring, the smiles and the relief that it all went perfectly.
How soon do we get the photos?
Your full gallery is typically delivered within 1 to 2 weeks. Every photo is individually retouched. If you need a few images sooner for social media or to share the news, let me know, and I’ll send a small preview within a couple of days.
Do you also do videography for proposals?
I focus on photography, but I can arrange a local videographer if you want both. We coordinate together so you don’t have to manage anything.
We're an LGBTQ+ couple. Is that a problem?
Never. Love is love. Some of my favourite sessions have been with LGBTQ+ couples. Every person and every story is welcome.
